Friday Bangkok is a new city guide media platform, aiming to inspire fun-loving people on how—and where—to make the most of city life. We publish in Thai and English, and we’re active on our website fridaybangkok.com as well as on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Friday is expanding, and we’re looking for new teammates.

Level: Senior Operations

Type: Full-time / Contract

Location: Hybrid

This position will be responsible for writing new content as assigned, pitching fresh ideas, and executing them in ways that align with the brand’s standards. You’ll also manage the website, keeping it up to date with daily input—whether that’s news updates or roundups of cool venues. Attending events, dining out, and joining social functions are part of the job. You’ll be at the forefront of Bangkok’s media scene, knowing and visiting the hottest venues before they become cool—and making them cool is part of your job.

We’re looking for someone with excellent, near-native English writing skills. You should also be able to read and communicate in Thai (trust us, it’s tough if you can’t). A Bachelor’s degree is required.

The job is full-time, though we’re open to contract. Our office is near Thonglor BTS station, conveniently close to a moo kra ta spot. Applicants currently living abroad are not eligible.

Are you one of those always excited about what’s new in the city, and can’t wait to share it on IG or TikTok the moment you get your hands on it? This is your job. We’re looking for a Social Video Creator (English) to help Friday grow into new media areas. The ideal candidate must have excellent storytelling instincts, strong video voicing/on-camera skills, and solid knowledge of short-video platforms, primarily Instagram and TikTok.

This is a full-time role, but we are open to contract hiring. It’s an onsite job, but you won’t be stationed at a desk—you’ll be roaming the city every day in search of new content and fresh angles to serve our audience. As Friday staff, you’ll be at the frontline of Bangkok’s media scene, visiting the hot places before anyone else—and making them hot for everyone else.

You don’t have to be a native speaker, but you do need to communicate in English fluently and naturally. Being able to read and communicate in Thai will make your life much easier. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
