It was only last week that we learned who the current Michelin Key holders were—and if you missed it, we reported the results here! But the focus today, like for the rest of the industry, is the announcement of ranks 51–100 of The World’s 50 Best Hotels, which was just released ahead of the full 1–50 list reveal scheduled for October 30, 2025.

Last year, we got to celebrate the success of three Bangkok institutions that received prestigious nods from the 50 Best people. Crowned as the best hotel in the world was Capella Bangkok, a monumental achievement that brought so much pride and big smiles to the Thai hospitality industry. Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, meanwhile, secured a spot at number 12, and The Siam at number 26.

It looks like we get to keep cheering the excellence of Thai hospitality, as the extended 51–100 list of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025 sees four hotels in Bangkok earn a spot. The recently opened Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is placed at number 51, followed closely by the reimagined Dusit Thani Bangkok at number 60. Rosewood Bangkok now sits at number 62 after getting a mention on the 50 Best Discovery roster last year. The Siam, however, slips from its number 26 ranking last year to the current spot at number 70.

That leaves us with the excitement of seeing if Capella Bangkok and Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok will hold on to their places on the main 50 Best list. Who knows, we might even see some new entries!
