What are you looking for when deciding where to go after hours in town? If you and your whole crew agree that the answer is great music, then we think you will absolutely love one of these vinyl bars in Bangkok.
In our digital-heavy world, the charm of analog music from vinyl records is undeniable. Luckily, the Thai capital has plenty of exceptional establishments where favorite tunes from classic or modern albums are blasted to 11 on the speakers, letting musicophiles enjoy the perfect soundtrack all night long with a drink in hand.
Here are eight of our most beloved spots that you need to check out right now.

Perched on the 30th floor of Rosewood Bangkok, this absolute must-visit vinyl bar has topped countless lists of where to be during the witching hours in Bangkok. The fame is all thanks to an impressive collection of over 6,000 vinyl records and the bar’s stunning retro atmosphere. Moreover, Lennon's 12 signature cocktails are directly inspired by blockbuster tunes from the 80s and 90s, creating a perfect tribute to the love of music and after-hour entertainment.

Born out of the shared passion for mixology of owners Chawika “Pan” Srisuan (designer of A Pale Petal) and DJ Nanziee, Modern-Day Culture on Soi Sukhumvit 63 (Ekkamai) is a dedicated space where serious vinyl collectors and music enthusiasts can enjoy the drinking culture. Apart from its extensive music collection, the bar stands out for its menu of creative drinks made from Thai herbs and traditional medicines, offering a highly intriguing take on the art of concoction.

Another venture from the same team that runs Modern-Day Culture, Club Salva hides a whole different world of nighttime wonder behind its red door. This club delivers an accessible, avant-garde experience inspired by the surrealist artworks of Spanish master Salvador Dalí.
Club Salva focuses on three major Vs: vinyl, vino, and vinegar-ish. This means you can enjoy plenty of vinyl records across the genres of jazz, house, and disco while sipping delicious wine or creative cocktails made from fermented ingredients. We highly recommend these adventurous, vinegar-inspired concoctions if you are looking for a genuinely intriguing taste experience.

Tokin “Tum” Teekanun, an elusive and influential figure behind Thailand’s music industry, is the owner of the up-and-coming bar Japhoochonpak. What has made this listening and drinking hideout such a beloved spot in a short time is the palpable familiarity and vintage warmth that music lovers across Bangkok are seeking. Being here is like stepping directly into Tum’s artistic world, surrounded by the books, art, and albums that shaped his inspiration and renowned lo-fi work.

Nestled inside a distinct white container on Soi Sukhumvit 36, Freaking Out the Neighborhood is the passion project of Kirtra Phromchan Na Sakon Nakhon (one of the minds behind HAVE YOU HEARD? and the organizers of Maho Rasop Festival). The bar proudly calls itself an alternative listening bar where night owls will be introduced to amazing tunes from lesser-known artists and albums across every genre. If you like what they’re playing, good news: you can buy it for your home collection too!

While most bars in Bangkok rely on digital streaming for their music, Yayyyyy Record Bar in Nang Loeng has officially sworn off digital! They are completely dedicated to playing music directly from a record player, making them one of the city's few true vinyl-only communities. You can hear every genre under the sun, ranging from western influences like hip-hop, jazz, house, or reggae, to vintage and contemporary Thai bangers and local folk music.
Since the focus is already on the incredible music, Yayyyyy Record Bar keeps the drinks simple and excellent, offering uncomplicated numbers like highballs, umeshu, beers, and wines.

When in Charoenkrung, don’t miss a chance to get some nice downtime before heading home at Siwilai Sound Club inside Central: The Original Store. This sophisticated venue offers a fantastic dual-floor music experience:
Downstairs in the Live Room, you can enjoy live jazz performances or a grand piano serenade. Head up to the Audiophile Bar on the upper floor for exciting DJ sets and a curated selection of vinyl jazz records.

Part of the creative Charoen43 community, Entertainment Project operates as a record shop and café every day from 12:00 to 20:00. The space then fully transforms into a music-loving spot for nighttime revellers to enjoy LPs played on an analog machine until midnight.
