Thailand is about to host Latinada, Southeast Asia’s biggest Latin American food and music festival, from October 18 to 19.
A showcase of “Latin passions meets Thai energy,” the Bangkok edition of this renowned Latin American fair will make its debut on Dusit Arun, the recently opened elevated garden at Dusit Thani Bangkok. It also marks the very first event to be held in this lush greenery since the garden's opening.
There’s plenty of fabulous fun and feasts to be expected at Bangkok Latinada. Attendees will savor a host of scrumptious, lesser-known Latin American dishes prepared by 19 talented Latin American chefs from countries including Brazil, Cuba, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Venezuela. If you’re not too shy, feel free to join the spicy salsa dance floor—or, if you prefer, simply bop along to the energetic live music. Don’t miss the original pisco sour, made fresh at the festival!
Latinada was first held in Singapore in 2018 by husband-and-wife chefs Daniel and Tamara Chavez. It started as a small fair for the Latin American community to come together and celebrate their rich culture. The festival has grown better and bigger each year, now seeing over 2,000 participants!
Pencil it in your diary—Bangkok Latinada is coming soon and you can find out more about it from its official website. Tickets are now available here or at Dusit Thani Bangkok for B450 each, which includes a B300 food and beverage voucher.
