When people say that Bangkok is a city that never sleeps, you can’t really disagree with that, can you? Earlier this year, the Thai capital saw the arrival of Central Park Bangkok, the latest massive lifestyle destination taking place as a part of the rebirth of the long-standing Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel. This project created huge waves, drawing both locals and tourists to witness its big opening. But that’s not the last grand plan of 2025, just so you know!

Later in Q4, the southern end of Sukhumvit will say hello to Cloud 11. An upcoming project by Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), which is under the CP Group, it’s a gigantic mixed-use building that aims to transform South Sukhumvit into “a world-class creative destination that empowers creators and enriches everyday experience with the future of entertainment technology.”

As huge as the concept sounds is the building itself, which is located on a 27-rai (about 43,200 square meters) plot of land in the Punnawithi–Udomsuk zone—around Soi Sukhumvit 101/1 to be more specific. Cloud 11’s design features a rectangular building encircling an impressive 17,000-square-meter green space that will become Bangkok’s biggest sky garden.

In addition to the new city green lungs, Cloud 11 will also have a variety of state-of-the-art facilities focused on the creative community, such as production studios, art exhibition spaces, Grade A+ working spaces, and communal hangouts. Plus, there’ll be a new shopping mall, two new hotels—YOTEL and Sangsan Bangkok Hotel (part of Marriott International)—and many more to come.
