No one can disagree with the fact that Thailand is certainly one of the best countries for street food, and the latest announcement of the Bib Gourmand list proves it yet again.
This distinction, a separate accolade from the Michelin Guide, is awarded to restaurants that serve quality food at affordable prices—and as such, most recipients are street food vendors or local neighborhood gems.
The Guide has unveiled its 2026 edition, showing a total of 137 restaurants in Thailand as recipients of the Bib Gourmand award.
Out of this 2026 cohort, there are 13 exciting new entries from across the country, comprising: four venues in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, one in Ayutthaya, three in Chiang Mai, one in Nakhon Ratchasima, one in Udon Thani, two in Surat Thani, and one in Phang Nga.
