The Michelin Guide doesn't just bestow prestigious stars upon restaurants that electrify the global hospitality industry every year; they also give out the much-coveted keys to the world’s best hotels. And the 2025 edition of Michelin key hotels has finally arrived!
Our Friday team was invited to join the grandeur of the Michelin key ceremony at Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, France, where a total of 62 hotels were revealed as Michelin key recipients. The room erupted in cheers and screams as the host unveiled, one by one, which establishments earned the coveted award this year.

Of course, they also weigh the “five universal criteria,” including: “excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the neighbourhood or setting.”
Now, back to Bangkok: 18 establishments in total were awarded the Michelin keys, and we couldn’t be more proud! The recipients of three keys are Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok (who will celebrate its 150th anniversary next year) and The Siam, the art deco riverside stunner.
Eight hotels have received two keys, notably Capella Bangkok, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, Park Hyatt Bangkok, Rosewood Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, The Peninsula Bangkok, The Sukhothai Bangkok, and Aman Nai Lert Bangkok—the last of which is the new entry and was also nominated for Best New Hotels of 2025 presented by UOB.
