After the phenomenal success of the Beer Market, the Beer People team is joining forces once again with Thai artist Wishulada for the debut of the People Market at Chatuchak Plaza later this November.
The original Beer Market was born out of the organizers’ powerful intention: to provide space and visibility for local alcohol producers, restaurants, cooks, artists, and upcycle makers. This is also a deliberate way to push back against a system dominated by big corporations. The project, which collaborated with Social Enterprise Thailand and Wishulada, shares a collective passion for supporting small entrepreneurs and social movements.
Now rebranded as the People Market, the event will go bigger and better with more shops and activities for participants to enjoy browsing for their next favorite thing while directly supporting small local businesses.
The market will feature three unique zones: The Beer & Spirit zone, which sees over 60 brands of local booze makers; The Wishulada zone, which includes exhibitions of upcycle art and products, along with hands-on recycling workshops; and finally, The Social Enterprise Thailand zone, featuring local restaurants and shops for food and miscellaneous goodies.
People Market 2025 takes place at Chatuchak Plaza this weekend, running from November 28-30, between 14:00-22:00.
