


Following the massive success of Opium Bar, beverage director Arnon “Kay” Hoontrakul has stepped into the spotlight with his own solo venture La Copita. Tucked away on Yaowaphanit Road, this compact, standing-room-preferred bar is a deliberate departure from the sprawling lounges of the city. Drawing inspiration from the intimate, neighborhood-focused bars of Tokyo and Sydney, Kay has created a space that feels like a hidden, warm sanctuary for close-knit gatherings.
As Thailand’s first Agave Bar, La Copita is a love letter to mezcal and tequila. The focus here is on the purity and versatility of the agave plant, with a menu that highlights both classic cocktails and creative house signatures.
