This pretty restaurant on a dead-end alley off Sukhumvit Soi 26 has been something of a closely guarded secret by Bangkok’s foodies. Now that it’s won its first Michelin star, the secret has become more of a bragging point (“We were here first!”). Not that chefs Michelle Goh and Top Russell are all fussed. All they want is to create enjoyable and accessible food that references European cuisine while making the most of seasonal Thai ingredients and modern cooking techniques (i.e., a free and creative hand). If that results in a sourdough brioche that will have you asking for seconds or cereal (of the best-tasting variety) for dessert, then we’re all for it.
