Benjakitti Park is a vast green space in the heart of Bangkok, transformed from the site of the former Tobacco Factory into a public park. Since June 1, 2008, the park has been under the care of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, following a transfer of responsibility from the Treasury Department, Ministry of Finance.
The park is divided into two main zones. The front features a large lake area inspired by the concept of a “Water-Conserving Forest,” while the rear is a forest park showcasing diverse natural landscapes from across Thailand.
Visitors can enjoy multiple facilities, including Benjakitti Plaza, a Buddha courtyard, an outdoor stage, fitness zones, playgrounds, walking and running tracks, a cycling lane, rest pavilions, parking, and a 10-rai Dog Park. The dog park stretches from the opposite side of the main parking lot to the right side of Entrance Gate 1 on Ratchadaphisek Road.
To use the Dog Park, pet owners must follow three simple rules: dogs must remain leashed, registration or check-in is required, and owners must clean up after their pets. A designated dog toilet area is also available on site.
