It’s this time of the year again when bars, mixologists, and drinking connoisseurs around the world gather to celebrate the craft of creative cocktails as The 50 Best team unveils the 2025 roster of The World’s 50 Best Bars.

This year, the award ceremony was held at Hong Kong’s iconic Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. This marks the second time that The World’s 50 Best Bars has come to Asia, following its Asian debut in Singapore.

Our Friday team received the privilege of joining a huge crowd of talented people in the industry and cheering loud and proud in unison as the ranks were revealed one by one. The whole room was up on their feet as Bar Leone from Hong Kong was crowned as the best bar this year! Meanwhile, Handshake from Mexico City was placed at number 2 and Sips from Barcelona at number 3.

The representatives from Thailand screamed in joy, too, for Bar Us and BKK Social Club made it to the list at number 15 and 49 respectively.
